Miss Flora Fox likes ballet and working on whittling projects. Recently she finished carving a salad bowl.
She is made of orange organic cotton fleece with a brushed flannel texture, and stuffed with washable polyfill. Her nose and the tip of her tail are white, and her ears are lined with striped pink cotton. She is 15" from ear to toe. Her eyes and nose are hand-embroidered with cotton thread. If necessary, you can hand-wash Flora.
Flora's jumper is made of soft strawberry red organic cotton. It has a little pink chevron detail on the front. Like all Hazel Village clothes, Flora's dress is removable so the animals can share and trade.
Flora will travel to you swaddled in a collectible bandana, perfumed with a lavender sachet. She will NOT come with a whittling knife, much to her dismay. I told her that when she arrives at her new home, maybe you can work something out.
If you want, we can add a hand-stitched monogram on Flora's chest.
Hazel Village was started in 2010. Owner, Jane, set out to make the toys she would have wanted as a child: soft and cute, with a rigorous commitment to the spirit of play. You'll never see a sewn-on doll shoe or a button that doesn't work, because that would mean admitting the animals aren't real. Hazel Village makes real organic cotton woodland creatures and dolls, and real doll clothes that all the Hazel Village friends can share, to inspire hours of immersive, low-tech play. Hazel Village dolls empower kids to play at their best: to make or imagine everything they need to make their dream worlds real.
